Golden retrievers deserve breeders who take their known health risks seriously. Here's exactly what we commit to.
Carefully screened parents
We do our utmost to screen out — and never breed — dogs likely to pass on health concerns. Before she was bred, our mother had a full blood panel run for the genetic markers behind the breed's known hereditary risks, and was cleared by our veterinarian.
Free health tracking, for life
Every Golden Noel family gets a free, lifelong health record on our site: your vet's details, vaccination history, and medical history, all in one place, shareable with any vet in a tap. Please use it — with your say-so, what families share becomes real data on our bloodlines, so we can see which lines stay healthiest and breed future litters to be less susceptible to defects. That's a different way of doing this than most of the puppy market, and it's how we think the breed actually gets better.
Vet-checked before go-home
Every puppy is examined by our veterinarian before pickup and goes home with a record of that exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming.
A written guarantee
Every puppy comes with a written health guarantee against life-limiting congenital conditions, provided at reservation and again at pickup. You'll see the full text before you pay anything.
A lifetime safety net
If your circumstances ever change — at any age, for any reason — a Golden Noel dog can always come back to us. No Golden Noel puppy will ever need a shelter.
Honesty over polish
We're a new, small program and we'd rather under-promise than over-claim: parent profiles, screening results, and registration details will be published here as each becomes real — never before. If you have questions in the meantime, ask us anything.
