From request to gotcha day
Transparent pricing, a visible place in line, and a wait that's actually fun.
1 · Request a spot
Sign in and tell us about your home — where you live, who's in the family, why a golden. We read every request ourselves and are honest about fit: we place a small number of puppies and we're choosy about where they go. You'll hear back either way, usually within a few days.
2 · Place your deposit
Approved families get a link to place a $500 refundable deposit. Your position in line is set by the moment it clears — first deposit, first in line, visible in your account along with an honest estimate of which litter your puppy will come from. The deposit counts toward the $3,000 total. If the list is full when you're approved, you're on our short list and get first word when a spot opens.
3 · The litter arrives
When a litter is announced you'll hear it first. From the day the puppies are born you get weekly photo pupdates of the whole litter — collar colors, weights, personalities emerging. Nobody has a puppy picked yet; everyone watches them all grow.
4 · Pick Day
After the puppies' first week, picking opens in strict order — the order deposits were placed. When it's your turn, you get a window to browse every available puppy's photos and notes, and lock in your choice.
5 · Or defer — no penalty
Not the right timing, or holding out for a particular color or temperament? Defer with one tap and keep your exact position for the next litter. Missing your window simply defers you too.
6 · Your puppy, your updates
Once you've locked in a puppy, the photo stream gets personal — updates of your puppy. Every puppy has a temporary name while they're with us; name yours whenever you like and it's announced on the litter page.
7 · Gotcha day
Pay the $2,500 balance (online, or in person at pickup), then come meet us in Central Texas. Puppies go home at 8+ weeks, in person only — we don't ship puppies.
